  • Full time Continuing, located on the Camperdown Campus at the School of Physics
  • Opportunity to contribute to teaching and research focused on dark matter direct detection
  • Base Salary Level B/C $110K - $156K p.a. + 17% superannuation

This position is exempt under section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, to conduct targeted recruitment programs for women.

About the opportunity

The University of Sydney is welcoming applications for a Dark Matter Research Lecturer/Senior Lecturer who are an experimentalist in Dark Matter field. The successful applicant will be working in the Astroparticle group (led by Professor Celine Boehm, Head of School) and expected to perform independent teaching and research on dark matter direct detection, astroparticle physics. The University of Sydney is a node of the awarded Australian Centre of Excellence for Dark matter and as such the applicant will benefit from the centre facilities and resources.
