Florida Atlantic University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. We seek qualified candidates to work with Professor Vicki Sarajedini on a variety of projects in the area of active galactic nuclei. The successful applicant will work on topics of mutual interest, pursue an independent research program, and contribute to the scientific life of the Department of Physics at Florida Atlantic University.
Preferred qualifications include a working knowledge of extragalactic photometric and spectroscopic data reduction and statistical techniques for the analysis of AGN variability.
Florida Atlantic University, one of the 12 universities in the state of Florida system, is located in Boca Raton, which is between West Palm Beach and Miami. The appointment is for a period of 2 years, with potential for extension up to an additional 12 months, contingent on funding and performance.
