The Astrophysics & Cosmology group of the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) invites applications for postdoctoral fellowships. The main selection criteria will be outstanding research accomplishments, creativity and potential for future achievements. The positions are for up to three years depending on progress. The starting date is flexible, but not later than November 2023. Fellows are expected to carry out both independent, original research, as well as collaborative work with the group members. Some of the research topics we are interested in include cosmology and dark matter (V. Desjacques, A. Nusser); X-ray astronomy and the development of gamma-ray-burst detectors (E. Behar); supernovae, gravitational wave sources, stellar dynamics and planet formation (N. Soker, H. Perets); Active Galactic Nuclei (A. Laor); star formation, interstellar medium physics, and cosmic rays (S. Bialy).
