Postdoctoral Fellow in Extragalactic astronomy

The Astronomy Department at Stockholm University invites applications for a 2(+1)-year Postdoctoral Research fellowship position to work in the group of Dr. Angela Adamo. The position will be associated with the FEAST project, a JWST cycle 1 multiband survey (GO1783) aimed to study the embedded phases of clustered star formation in local galaxies. It will focus on analyses of multiwavelength imaging and spectroscopic data from the FUV to the mm that will include and complemet the JWST observations. Expertise in analysing and modelling stellar, dust, and diverse gas emissions are prioritised in the selection of the candidates. 

The Department of Astronomy has around 90 employees. The main research areas are Galaxies, Supernovae, Computational astrophysics, Solar physics, and Planets and Stars.
