The Department of Physics at Boise State University invites applicants for the postdoc position in Dr. Hao-Yi Wu's team. We are looking for candidates with experience in observational cosmology relevant to Vera C. Rubin Observatory Legacy Survey of Space and Time, including galaxy clusters, gravitational lensing, and galaxy clustering. Candidates with a background in cosmological simulations or other areas of cosmology are also encouraged to apply.
The intended start date is spring 2022 but can be negotiated. The appointment is initially for two years, and the renewal for a third year is subject to performance and funding availability. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, or a related field at the time of appointment.
