Position Introduction

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Vassar College invites applications for two, one year full-time positions at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor beginning with the fall semester of 2021.

Position Description

One position will be for teaching physics courses; the second position will be for teaching physics as well as astronomy/astrophysics courses. Candidates will be required to teach 5 courses per year.
