Job Description
The Department of Astronomy of Yonsei University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant or associate professor to begin in 2022. Candidates with research interests in all areas of astronomy and astrophysics are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must have a PhD degree in astronomy or a closely related field and demonstrate excellent ability to define and develop independent research programs.
The Department of Astronomy covers diverse research topics, including stellar astrophysics, observational astronomy, theoretical modelling of galaxy formation, gravitational lensing, observational cosmology, astrodynamics and satellite controls, and space optics.
