Faculty Position
Experimental and Observational Cosmology, or a related field
Columbia University

The Department of Physics at Columbia University seeks to appoint an assistant professor in the area of experimental and observational cosmology, or a related field starting on July 1, 2019. This is a broad search in which all areas of cosmology, including instrumentation, observations and data analysis, will be considered. It is expected that the candidate will develop a vigorous independent research program, continuing the long Columbia record of forefront accomplishment in science. Applicants must possess a doctoral degree in Physics or a related field and have demonstrated the ability to do pioneering research as well as the promise of excellence in teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
