If you would like to join this exciting organization, apply today! Applications are sought for the position of Astrophysicist (Post-Doctoral Research Fellow) in the High Energy Astrophysics Division. The purpose of this position is to train postdoctoral researchers to conceive, plan and conduct highly specialized research in the field of the astrophysics of galaxy groups and clusters, and the feedback processes associated with active galactic nuclei. Duties include conducting a program of research and scholarship in the area of the astrophysics of galaxy groups and clusters, dissemination of the results of the research, supporting the development of proposals for research funding and/or appropriate studies using space-based and ground-based facilities, and participation in the development of software and procedures for the reduction, analysis and interpretation of data as needed; or in the development of analytical methods and/or software to model physical processes and conditions, as needed.
