Assistant Professor of Physics

Job Responsibilities:

The Department of Physics at The Citadel invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2018. The Citadel is a public accredited four-year comprehensive college. As a senior military college, The Citadel has a unique military tradition and a mission to educate and train principled leaders.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must hold an earned doctoral degree in an area of experimental Physics, Astronomy or a related field, have a commitment to undergraduate teaching, and have an interest in directing undergraduate research. While we are most interested in candidates with experience in experimental Physics, we encourage applicants with other backgrounds.
