Job Description

We announce a PhD position at the Department of Astronomy and Theoretical Physics at Lund University. The PhD student will work with Oscar Agertz on galaxy & star formation and evolution in a cosmological context. While the successful applicant will get the opportunity to work on a wide range of topics, the research will center on numerical simulations of galaxies, with a focus on chemo-dynamical evolution in the context of future and ongoing surveys such as Gaia, APOGEE, WEAVE and 4MOST.
