Job Description

The Department of Astronomy at Boston University invites applications for a full-time lecturer during the 2017/2018 academic year. The successful candidate will teach two introductory courses in each semester. The two courses (AS101: The Solar System and AS102: The Astronomical Universe) are intended primarily for undergraduate non-science majors and satisfy the College of Arts & Sciences general education requirement as natural sciences divisional studies courses with laboratory components. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise multiple teaching fellows and to hold regular office hours on campus.
