Applications are invited for two postdoctoral fellow positions in areas related to large-scale structure, Cosmology, galaxy formation, inter/circumgalactic medium, time-domain Astronomy, milky way, and planets at the Tsinghua University, Department of Astronomy in Beijing, China. Candidates with background in observation or theory are both encouraged to apply. Successful candidates can work independently, and they are strongly encouraged to work with the Science Working Group of the 6.5m MUltiplexed Survey Telescope (MUST) website link:

Successful applicants have a great chance to participate in the future survey design and science application in MUST and CSST.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, or a related field. A complete application should include a CV, a list of publications and a statement of previous and future research. Materials, combined in a single PDF file, should be sent via email to [email protected], and copy [email protected] to receive full consideration. The applicant should also arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent to the same email address prior to the deadline. The initial appointment is for two years, renewable for a third year depending on performance. Successful candidates will be offered internationally competitive salary and subsidized housing. They are normally expected to start at Tsinghua no later than September 1, 2022, although the exact starting date can be negotiated.
