mm/radio Lensed High-z Galaxies Postdoc

Applications are invited for a 2-year postdoctoral position (extendable up to 3 years) in the field of galaxy evolution with Prof. Chelsea Sharon at Yale-NUS College in Singapore. The successful applicant will primarily work with ALMA and VLA observations of z~2-3 lensed galaxies with some multi-band archival HST data. Experience working with radio/millimeter interferometric data, HST observations, and/or gravitational lens modelling are desirable, but not required.

The approximate start date is August 2022. Applicants ideally should have a PhD in astronomy, physics, or related subject by the start of the appointment, but a 6 month probationary period is allowed while degree confirmation is being finalized. The successful candidate will receive relocation expenses, health insurance, and a generous travel allowance (some elligibility requirements may apply).

Yale-NUS College is a small undergraduate-only liberal arts college in Singapore, jointly founded by Yale University and the National University of Singapore (NUS). While the College is scheduled to be merged with an honors program at NUS in 2025, all contracts will be honored at NUS and postdoctoral scholars will not be significantly affected.
