Outstanding candidates are invited to apply for an immediate postdoc opening in the protoplanetary disks (PPDs) modeling. We seek candidates with background in accretion disk physics, gas and dust dynamics and instabilities, planet and disk interaction, planet formation, radiative processes, and jets/outflows from PPDs. Experiences in theoretical and computational modeling of PPDs are highly desirable. The successful candidates are encouraged to collaborate on the current projects carried out at LANL, and they will also be able to develop his/her own research programs. The initial appointment is for two years, with a possible third year extension.

The position is offered by the Nuclear and Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology group within the Theoretical Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Outstanding candidates may also be considered for other named Fellowships at LANL.
Education: PhD in related fields completed within the past five years or soon to be completed.
