The gravitational waves and cosmology group at Wuhan University invites applicants for 2 postdoctoral positions on Gravitational-wave, 1 postdoctoral position on cosmology and 1 postdoctoral position on chemical evolution of galaxies.
The successful candidates are expected to contribute to the group’s research, which covers a variety of areas including:
Cosmology,
Gravitational-wave astrophysics ,
Gravitational-wave data analysis,
Chemical evolution of galaxies.
See more information in http://astronomy.lamost.org/blog/?page_id=2 and http://202.114.78.174/astro/
Two postdoctoral researchers on Gravitational-wave will work together with Prof Zonghong Zhu and Prof. Xilong Fan.
One postdoctoral researcher on Cosmology will work with Prof Zonghong Zhu.
One postdoctoral researcher on chemical evolution will work with Prof. Xilong Fan.
The successful applicant must hold a PhD in astrophysics, or a closely related field. Postdocs will have opportunities to develop their own research programs and obtain future funding support through competitive funding programs in China.
Appointments are for two years, with renewal for a third-year contingent upon satisfactory progress and funding status. The anticipated starting date is Summer/Fall 2019.
