Job Description

The Data Science in Astrophysics Group at the Institute for Computational Science (ICS) invites applications for a postdoc position in the modeling of observational signatures of simulated galaxies at high redshift. Applicants with a background in numerical simulations and radiative transfer calculations are especially encouraged to apply. She/he should be enthusiastic, communicative, and willing to integrate into the diverse scientific environment at the ICS. 

The appointment is limited to two years, renewed annually on satisfactory performance, and starts in the fall of 2020. The annual salary is CHF 95,986. A PhD in astronomy, physics, or a related field is required by the date of employment. The University of Zurich is an equal opportunity employer.
