We seek applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the broad field of exoplanets and planet formation and evolution and protoplanetary accretion discs. The successful candidate will join the research group lead by Dr. Hall at the University of Georgia, Athens (UGA), USA. Athens is a vibrant, liberal, college town renowned for gardens, museums, restaurants and its live music scence.
The goal of this position is to increase our knowledge of planet formation and evolution and/or exoplanets by performing theoretical or computational research. The successful candidate will work together with Dr. Hall on these topics depending on their research interests and experience.
The position is for 2 years, with the possibility of extension if additional external funding is secured. Compensation and Benefits
The position is fully eligible for benefits including UGA employee health insurance and dental plans, vision plan, and UGA’s retirement program. The position comes with 10 hours per month of paid annual leave, and 8 hours per month of paid sick leave.
