Research Associate – Exoplanets and their host stars
Due to external funding restrictions an appointment can only be made at £33,518
Fixed term contract for 2 years from 1 January 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter

About this role: In this role you will undertake research on exoplanetary systems, with emphasis on the role of the host star in determining the active environment (‘space weather’) experienced by the exoplanet.
About you: You will provide high-level research skills through personal expertise and contribution to the research team. We are looking for a self-starter with a real passion for the subject matter. You will have the ability to develop innovative approaches to any challenges the project presents and work pro-actively to achieve the very best results.
