Postdoctoral Scholar

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Scholar position at IPAC, Caltech.  The successful applicant will work with Drs. George Helou and Ranga-Ram Chary on topics such as

1) Multi-mission, multi-resolution cataloging and photometry across multiple datasets,

2) Image-domain statistical analysis of populations of sources at multiple wavelengths,

3) Likelihoods and foregrounds maps from joint analysis of cosmological data sets.

Candidates should have obtained, by the starting date but no more than 3 years prior, a Ph.D. in astronomy, physics or equivalent, in an area relevant to these projects.
