Job Announcement Text:

Applications are invited for a full time postdoctoral position in instrumental astrophysics at the University of Washington. The candidate will work with Prof. Sarah Tuttle on instrumentation projects both space & ground based, as well as observational projects especially based out of Apache Point Observatory. Of particular interest are postdoctoral candidates interested in novel materials in astronomical instruments; observational studies of galaxy evolution of local galaxies and diffuse media; and optical design/engineering. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join existing projects and will also be encouraged to develop and pursue their own research program.
