Chalmers University of Technology invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship supported by the Hasselblad Foundation. The position is hosted by the Chalmers Department of Space, Earth and Environment in the research units located at Onsala Space Observatory. The observatory is a research infrastructure for radio astronomy and space geodesy. The observatory also hosts various telescopes, including a LOFAR station, two telescopes which form part of the EVN/VLBI array, and is a partner in in the APEX telescope in Chile. OSO further hosts the Nordic ALMA Regional Centre and represents Sweden as a member of the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) Organisation.
The Hasselblad postdoc fellowship should be aligned with research pursued in the Astronomy and Plasma Physics or Onsala Space Observatory divisions and specifically in the areas of Extragalactic Astronomy, Galactic Astronomy or Space Geodesy and Geodynamics. For more details on the relevant research topics please consult the division webpages and the electronic announcement and submission page.
The application deadline is January 31st.
