The University of Chicago invites applications for a new Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellowship program that will train scholars who seek to advance and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence in the natural sciences and engineering. This UChicago fellowship is part of a major initiative funded by Schmidt Futures which aims to launch the next frontier of scientific discovery through AI, and is recruiting those who have completed a Ph.D. in the natural or mathematical sciences, engineering or a related field before the start of their fellowship and no earlier than 2018. Applications are now available for the initial cohort starting Jan. 1, 2023, and a second cohort starting in September 2023. You can read more about the program in a recent article here.
