CSIRO Astronomy & Space Science (CASS) and CSIRO Data61 are looking for an enthusiastic Postdoctoral Fellow to join the vibrant and diverse astronomy and computing teams. The Fellow will work closely with Drs G. Hobbs and C. Wang, to undertake postdoctoral research to develop and apply computer algorithms that can search for currently unknown astronomical sources in data streams from the Parkes and FAST radio telescopes. We are looking for someone capable of coding new algorithms, working with very large (tera-byte scale) data sets and publishing scientific results relating to these fields.
The postdoctoral fellow will be a CSIRO employee and based in Sydney, Australia and the position will be for three years. Applicants should follow the link to the CSIRO recruitment pages.
