Postdoctoral Positions in Astrophysics & Cosmology

The Astrophysics & Cosmology group at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology - expects to offer one or more postdoctoral fellowship positions. The main selection criteria will be outstanding research accomplishments, creativity and promise of future achievement in any field of theoretical astrophysics, cosmology and planetary science as well as experimental and observational high-energy astrophysics.

One postdoc position will be in the field of Cosmology. Although we are primarily interested in candidates with expertise in large scale structure probes of fundamental physics, we encourage applications from candidates in other areas of specializations in Cosmology.

The positions are for up to three years pending on progress. The start date is flexible, but not later than December 2018. The appointed fellows are expected to carry out both independent original research, as well as collaborative work with group members. Current faculty members include Ehud Behar, Vincent Desjacques, Ari Laor, Adi Nusser, Hagai Perets and Noam Soker.
