The Physics Department at the University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) seeks applications from candidates for a tenure-track faculty position at Assistant Professor rank in the area of Theoretical and/or Computational Plasma Physics. This position requires the ability to develop and conduct an innovative independent research program, a dedication to teaching in our undergraduate and graduate programs, and a commitment to supporting the diverse populations in our department.
What We Can Offer
Salary will be commensurate with experience; a starting salary range of $94,000 – $97,000 is expected. This salary is for a 9-month academic period. Summer month activities are at the applicant’s discretion and externally funded projects can be used as a means to cover their summer salary. A startup fund will be available, from which up to $8,000 can be used for moving expenses.
