The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Purdue University invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the area of theoretical high-energy astrophysics. Candidates with interests in relativistic astrophysics are particularly encouraged to apply. The projects to be worked on will be partially chosen based on the interests/skills of the applicant.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in physics or astrophysics or an equivalent degree. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Additional research funds will be available. The position will initially be for two years and may be extended up to three years, depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
