Postdoc in theoretical astroparticle physics

DESY at its Zeuthen location near Berlin is a leading center for astroparticle physics with a focus on gamma-ray and neutrino astronomy, and the development of new detectors and detection technologies for future astroparticle physics experiments.The activities of astroparticle theory group include: particle transport and acceleration, plasma astrophysics.
About your role:
- Postdoctoral appointment in astroparticle physics. We are particularly interested in scientists working in any of the following areas:
- Particle transport and/or acceleration processes
- Plasma astrophysics
About you:
- Ph.D. in physics or astronomy or equivalent qualification
- Experience with modeling/analysis of particle transport process/high energy phenomena or numerical studies of plasma processes
- Good command of English
