Postdoctoral Researcher in Extragalactic Astrophysics: high-z/EoR focus

We invite applications for one (possibly two, contingent upon funding) postdoctoral researchers in observational studies of high-redshift galaxies. Closing date: 14 Jan, 2022.

The position(s) are available from fall 2022 (earlier is negotiable), and will be available for 2 years, with a possible 1-year extension contingent upon performance. 

The postdoc(s) will work in the group of Associate Professor Matthew Hayes, and will focus upon galaxy evolution at high-z/reionization epoch. We are searching for highly qualified scientists to exploit Large Programmes at ESO/VLT and JWST.  Experience with fiber-fed multi-object spectrographs or slitless spectroscopy with HST would be a strong advantage; knowledge of galaxy evolution, reionization, starbursts, or Lyman-alpha emission would be preferred.
