Post-doctoral position : Machine Learning for Cosmology with Galaxy Clusters

Start date: from Oct 1st, 2019, and no later than Jan 1st 2020
We are searching for a postdoctoral fellow to apply machine learning and deep machine learning techniques to optimally extract cosmological parameters with galaxy clusters detected from large-scale surveys.
This position benefits from joint scientific supervision at the Observatoire de Paris and the Ecole Normale Supérieure, in collaboration with the startup LightOn.
Profile: Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the topic, the candidate is expected to hold either a PhD in Astrophysics, with good programming and algorithmic skills, or a PhD in Machine Learning, and interest in applying these techniques to physical data and models. Being able to program in Python is required.
