The Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (FCFM), University of Chile, Santiago, Chile, has two available full time academic positions at
the Department of Electrical Engineering, both in the general area of Electrical Engineering. Outstanding candidates with research and teaching skills in the areas of Control Systems, Computational Intelligence and Robotics, Energy, Information and Communication Technologies and Instrumentation are encouraged to apply. Other related research and teaching areas may also be considered.
The Department of Electrical Engineering, Universidad de Chile, is one of the highest ranked engineering academic institutions in Latin America. The Department is an interdisciplinary institution offering research in five primary areas: Control Systems, Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, Energy, Information & Communication Technologies and Astronomical Instrumentation and Microwave Electronics. Collaboration between research areas and other departments within the University is encouraged.
