The Department of Physics at the University of North Texas (UNT) invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position with Dr. Yuan Li. The successful candidate will work in the broad areas of galaxy evolution, galaxy clusters, black hole accretion and feedback, star formation and stellar feedback, the interstellar medium, the intra-cluster medium, and the circum-galactic medium. A background in computational astrophysics is preferred, but not required. Candidates with experience in X-ray/ALMA/optical IFU observations are also encouraged to apply.

The start date is summer/fall 2022 with some flexibility. The appointment is for two years. Renewal for a third year is subject to performance and funding availability.
