Postdoctoral Research Positions, Caltech High Energy Astrophysics
Applications are invited for one or more post-doctoral research positions at the California Institute of Technology to work with data from the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) high energy X-ray telescope (http://www.nustar.caltech.edu). Areas of scientific research include: Galactic compact objects, ultraluminous X-ray Sources (ULXs), AGN physics and evolution, galaxy clusters, and supernova remnants. Appointments are for two years; renewal for a third year is subject to performance and availability of funds. Successful applicants will also have access through a competitive proposal process to Palomar and Keck.
The appointments are expected to start on or before September 1, 2018, and require the completion of a PhD.
