The Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics (KIAA) at Peking University invites applications for a postdoctoral research appointment. The appointment will be for two years, renewable for a third year subject to a performance evaluation and the availability of funding.
We seek qualified applicants to work with Professors Ran Wang and Luis C. Ho on topics related to the co-evolution of quasars and their host galaxies. Applicants with experience on observational studies of AGN host galaxies, especially expertise in ALMA/mm interferometry, optical imaging, or optical IFU data analysis are especially encouraged to apply.

KIAA is engaged in national and international theoretical and observational initiatives, development and use of facilities, and student training, pursued in partnerships with other Kavli institutes and a network of domestic and international astronomy centers. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in astronomy, physics, or related fields completed or expected by the effective date, and a demonstrated record of research excellence.
