Applications are invited for one or more three-year (2+1) Chalmers Cosmic Origins postdoctoral fellowships at Chalmers University of Technology (Gothenburg/Onsala, Sweden) as part of a new Chalmers Initiative on Cosmic Origins (CICO).
A successful applicant, required to have a Ph.D. in astronomy/astrophysics, will lead an ambitious, independent research program related to Cosmic Origins science, expected to align with the wide range of research at Chalmers, including the Onsala Space Observatory and ALMA ARC Node. The relevant themes include galaxy formation and evolution, interstellar medium, astrochemistry, star formation, and planet formation and evolution, from both theoretical and observational perspectives. The fellow is expected to participate in departmental activities, and promote collaboration between CICO and its partner institutes.
