Telescope Engineer / Instrument Specialist at Sunspot Solar Observatory

Sunspot Solar Observatory is seeking a Observatory Instrument Spec (Telescope Engineer) for day-time astronomical observations and operations of the Dunn Telescope in Sunspot, NM. Responsibilities include maintaining, documenting, redesigning, upgrading and supporting observations with the adaptive optics systems and all (4) science instruments at the telescope.The instrument engineer will also be responsible for recommendations for design modifications that will facilitate simplified long-term operations.
