Department of Physics of UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology) hosts "Center for High Energy Astrophysics (CHEA)", a research center supported by National Research Foundation of Korea. Current research topics of CHEA include 1) high energy phenomena in clusters of galaxies, particularly those involving shock waves, turbulence, magnetic fields, and cosmic rays, and 2) the structure and evolution of compact objects such as neutron stars and black holes as well as explosive phenomena related to them. CHEA invites applications for research professor positions for the topics of high energy astrophysics and related fields.
