The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar – Announcement number R0113253  - to work with Dr. Daniel Proga. The successful candidate will work on outflows in active galactic nuclei. The main emphasis will be given to modeling the formation, regeneration and acceleration of clouds using radiation-MHD simulations. QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a Ph.D. in Astronomy or related field from a regionally accredited college or university. Previous experience in computational astrophysics is an advantage.

SALARY RANGE

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
