Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO) is seeking to fill one or two faculty positions in the area of radio cosmology. We are seeking for prospective faculty members with strong research track record, and international impact to join the group of SKA cosmology research in PMO. The candidate(s) who have the following skills will be given preference: radio astronomy technique and data analysis (single-dish and interferometry), and cosmology (e.g. CMB and large-scale structure) data analysis. Research fields in PMO include dark matter experimental searches, galaxy evolution and cosmology, high-energy astrophysics, and sub-mm astronomy. Members of the institute are actively involved in other international and domestic projects such as SDSS-IV, FAST, SKA and DAMPE. PMO is also hosting the Australia-China Consortium for Astrophysical Research and China Centre for Antarctic Astronomy. The Observatory is current a mixture of Chinese and international researchers, including 328 faculty members, 15 postdocs, and 89 PhD students. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree and have a demonstrated record of outstanding research, along with a strong commitment to involve graduate students in research (no teaching commitment is required).
