Job Announcement Text:

Applications for sabbatical visits (or long-term visits) to the CCA are now open for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 year. During their time at CCA, visiting researchers will engage in projects independently and in collaboration with members of the CCA. Visiting researchers may join the CCA in this capacity for (up to) one academic year, and have substantial flexibility in how they might structure their visit. These types of visitors are typically appointed as consultants or independent contractors, and are expected to have been in a faculty-level or equivalent position for several years.

If interested, please submit a short proposal title, a research plan for your visit to the CCA (not exceeding two pages in length) and a CV to [email protected].  Please ensure that your current position and title are clearly listed on your CV.

In addition, please outline the following details on a separate page for review. Additional details are appreciated and help us in the decision making process:

  • Please let us know which CCA researchers you are interested in collaborating with
  • Please let us know the requested time-frame of your visit and any constraints you may have about the timing and duration of your visit.
  • Please share any funding requirements you may have such as: salary support (FTE), travel and accommodation expenses, etc.

Please note that during your visit, adherence to our institutional code of conduct is expected, as it is for all staff, visitors, and conference participants. This code applies both to in-person behaviors and when using any communication channels, including social media. In addition, the code requires all staff, visitors, and participants to respect requests for confidentiality during scientific talks. We believe our code of conduct is essential to the success of our mission. Mutual respect for one another will truly stimulate our best performance.

Full consideration will be given to applications submitted before January 2, 2024. We expect to communicate decisions in early February 2024.
