Department of Physics of UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology) in Korea (https://physics.unist.ac.kr/) invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position to begin as early as September 1, 2020. Candidates from all fields of astronomy and astrophysics are invited to apply. The position can be filled at the assistant, associate or full professor level, although the preference will be given to the assistant professor.

UNIST (https://www.unist.ac.kr/) is one of premium national institutes focusing on research and education. The department offers a complete undergraduate (BS) and graduate (MS and PhD combined) program. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong research potential to enhance the astronomy and astrophysics program in the department, as well as to participate in the Center for High Energy Astrophysics (http://sirius.unist.ac.kr/SRC-CHEA/). The successful candidate is expected to actively participate in supervising students and carry out independent research.
