Postdoctoral Position in Cosmology/Astrophysics/Planetary Science

The astrophysics & Cosmology group of the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, expects to offer one or more postdoctoral fellowship positions. The main selection criteria will be outstanding research accomplishments, creativity and promise of future achievement in any field of theoretical astrophysics, cosmology and planetary science as well as X-ray observationational astronomy. The position is for up to three years pending on progress. The start date is flexible, but not later than December 2017. Fellows are expected to carry out both independent original research, as well as collaborative work with faculty and/or students. Researchers in theoretical astrophysics, cosmology and planetary science as well as X-ray observationational astronomy are encouraged to apply.

Current faculty members in the astrophysics group include Ehud Behar,  Vincent Desjacques, Ari Laor, Adi Nusser, Hagai Perets and Noam Soker.
