Postdoctoral fellowship in The Center for Astrophysics and Planetary Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Primary tabs

The cosmology group (Dekel, Mandelker, Birnboim) within the Center for Astrophysics and Planetary Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem will offer postdoctoral fellowships to start in the fall of 2023 (or before). The group focuses on the theory of the formation, evolution and dynamics of galaxies and large-scale structure, including gas around and between galaxies. The research includes simulations, semi-analytic and analytic modeling, in comparison to observations possibly utilizing machine learning.

The general deadline is December 20, 2022. However, early applications by October 20, 2022, are highly encouraged because they can be considered for a larger pool of funding.
