We invite applications for a postdoctoral position in experimental cosmology within the Physics Department at Yale University. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Laura Newburgh on development and deployment of 21cm intensity mapping instrumentation for the Hydrogen Intensity and Real-time Analysis Experiment (HIRAX, http://www.acru.ukzn.ac.za/~hirax/).
As a postdoctoral scholar, you would lead elements of instrument design, development, testing, and deployment for HIRAX. Appropriately qualified applicants will have the opportunity to pursue other avenues of related research. The initial position will be for 2 years, renewable for a third year subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a PhD in astronomy, physics, or a closely related field, and a have demonstrated skills in cosmology instrumentation.
